Features from Last Week

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone had a productive weekend. Our Halloween decorations are officially 100% cleaned up. It makes me sad, but at the same time very proud that we cleaned up the house so quickly! I’m working on the finishing touches to our Autumn decorations, and will meet with my mother later this week to go over Thanksgiving planning. We have tons of family flying in for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is going to be here before we all realize it. Take a deep breath… everything will be ok!

Thank you to everyone who linked up last week! We had some amazing projects like always. I was happy to still see a few Halloween project “stragglers”. At least it isn’t 100% over! Still working on my blog buttons. So if you were featured… hold on. My goal is to have them up and running this week! I promise!

Quilt-As-You-Go Strip Quilt from Originate and Renovate

Wow this is some quilt. Now this is the kind of quilt I think I could make. For the most part I can sew a straight line, and this quilt has no funky patterns. I think I might just have to make a quilt in 2012!

Mini Pumpkin Candles from Creative Endeavors

I love the idea of using fresh mini pumpkins! I think I might need to make these for my Thanksgiving table scape!

Isabella Dress from A Couple of Craft Addicts

OMG! How darling is this dress! I want to make a grown-up version STAT!

Easy DIY (Very Sentimental) Ornaments from Simcoe Street

Normally I’m not big into Christmas crafts, but something has gotten into me this year… I actually want to make a bunch of homemade ornaments. I’m loving this idea! I guess I’ll need to go up into the attic and pull out a few wedding invites and programs!

Tile Coasters from Creative Passage

I love to make coasters as gifts. I never thought to use sun prints as the paper top for the coaster! Love this idea!!!
