I love washi tape. It’s been my new obsession for 2012. I recently was introduced to a new company: Downtown Tape. They are your one-stop shop for all your washi tape needs! ALL rolls are just $1.99!!! They have 15 different striped washi tapes, 24 dot washi tapes, 16 floral washi tapes, 26 patterned washi tapes, and 13 randomness washi tapes. That is 94 different styles of washi tape to choose from (in one place)! And they offer a flat shipping rate of $2.95.
Being that washi tape is a paper tape it’s not super sticky, so you can easily reposition the tape multiple times with it still adhereing to your item of choice. I’ve seen all over Pinterest ways people transform their knife blocks–all with paint. I couldn’t imaging painting my knife block. Instead I decided to dress it up with a little washi tape. I used 2 rows of Sizzle in Sedona (yellow) and 2 rows of Cleveland Rock Royalty (purple). Because of the pattern in the purple tape I was able to match it up so it essentially looked like one band around the block instead of two! Best of all, I can change up my knife block next month if I want with a whole new look and feel using washi tape! Follow my tutorial below to see how I transformed my knife block.
Transforming your knife block can’t get any easier than this!
Now, on to the fun part… one lucky reader will win 10 rolls of washi tape plus 25 tags from Downtown Tape. Please fill out the Rafflecopter widget below (be patient… let it load) and follow all the instructions. Unfortunately, this giveaway is only open to United States shipping addresses.
