DIY Sparkle Tape Flameless Candle

DIY Sparkle Tape Flameless Candle from SewWoodsy.com

Today I’m sharing a super simple craft to spruce up your dinning room table for Valentine’s day! We have tons of flameless candles throughout our home and I thought it would be cool to add some glitter tape and a heart charm to our flameless candles in honor of Valentine’s day! Last month I received a fun craft package from Darice with a wide variety of craft supplies in it. If you follow me on instagram you might remember seeing the photo.

Measure out two pieces of sparkle tape making sure that the ends just slightly overlap.

Wrap the sparkle tape around the candle. Note… mine is not perfect. That is ok. If you have the patience and time to get it to match that is great, but I didn’t want to spend all night trying to match the ends!

Now wrap the metallic elastic cord around the candle a few times leaving extra cord available to tie the charm on.

Tie a knot in the elastic cord.

Then secure your charm. I decided to keep extra cord exposed. I tied a bow on the charm. That’s it… your done!

Now put it on the table and go eat a romantic dinner at home with the one you love!
