{Auto DIY} Product Review + Video: 3M Door Edge Protection Film

3M Door Edge Protection Film + Video from SewWoodsy.com

Last year, you might remember that we took a trip up to the 3M headquarters to attend a 3M Auto Bootcamp! While we were there we learned so many cool things about taking caring of your car–on your own. Simple little tricks and tips that anyone can do!  I think most of us who DIY stuff for our homes fail to realize that we can also DIY various car repairs. Our cars are a fraction of the cost of our homes yet we are more scared to work on them then we are our very expensive homes. This is just a fun little assumption we came up with while at the event talking to our fellow bloggers. We wanted to start this Auto DIY series last year, but never had the time too. We decided it would be best if we made a few videos to walk our fellow DIYers through the steps.

Today, we are starting with a very easy-to-install product! 3M Door Edge Protection Film helps careless people, like me, protect their doors from being dinged… or well dinging other vehicles! Jon was ecstatic when he saw this product at the 3M headquarters. He knew this was the first thing we needed to try since I’m notorious for bumping the door into anything in my way! You’ll notice in the picture above that this is a clear product and virtually seamless. You really have to look closely at the edge of the door to see it.

Watch our video to see just how easy it is to install!
