Today, we have my friend Allison from A Glimpse Inside. We had the chance to meet last year at SNAP and talk almost daily online! I can’t wait for you to see what Allison is sharing with us today!
I’m Allison and I blog over at A Glimpse Inside.
I am an Army wife, momma to two small girls, and love to get my craft on!
I’m excited to be here today while Katie is snuggling on that cute little boy!
I have a super easy and super fast craft for you today!
These types of crafts have become a must for me since I have a 22 mth old and a 5 mth old and I only get to craft during nap time for the most part.
Here is how you can make one for youself.
-Shape n’ Tape Packs (I found these at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store. I bought this multi-colored pack and then a pack of all yellow and white designs.)
The tape comes in sheets. I started by cutting strips out of each sheet in the width I wanted my pennants to be.
I then cut out the triangle to make them more flag like.
You could probably use a cutting machine to do this as well but I just decided to free hand it.
I also decided to just glue the twine onto the back of the pennants.
Since this is sticky tape, you could always peel back the backing and fold it over the twine if you would like. I used the glue because I didn’t make my pennants long enough to fold it over.
And boom… you are done!!
I told ya it was fast and easy!
I made two small banners and added them to the frames I have above my mantle for a pop of color in my spring decor.
Feel free to drop by my bloggy neck of the woods any time!
And you can find me all over social media as well!
Thanks for letting me share my idea Katie!
Give that cute baby a cuddle and kiss for me! 🙂
