Because Every Picture Has A Story Vinyl on Coffee Table #snapfishbloggers #ad

I recently had the chance to give our formal living room an update thanks to my friends at Snapfish! Our formal living and dining room has always been the “last” room to be decorated. The first few years it was kind of a dumping ground for everything we had but couldn’t find a place for. Our formal living area also consisted of all sorts of random free furniture we received from friends and family including a pool table. Over the past year I’ve finally figured out a plan for this room. One of the last things I needed to do was change out the art work on the wall. 3 years ago, Jon and I went to Europe for 16 days. During those 16 days we took over 6,000 photos. Yes, you read that correctly! I’ve always wanted to enlarge some of the photographs we took. I felt like this was the perfect opportunity.Snapfish Home Decor is the great way to revive any room, and to go along with my new artwork on the walls I also wanted to revive my coffee table.

Snapfish has been totally redesigned! It’s gorgeous and easy to use and has a few new features.

  1. Easy-to-use tools. So you’re free to be as creative as you want. No need to dig around they are right at your fingertips!
  2. The site is tablet and smartphone friendly, you guys! Create on any device, at home or on the go. I love the capabilities of being able to create on the go!
  3. All of your photos are available at your fingertips. Add and save photos to your Snapfish account from almost anywhere, including Instagram! Which means you can have an extra copy of your photos at all times in case anything happens to your phone!

So now that I’ve shared about the new Snapfish website I want to share who to apply vinyl to a coffee table. It’s really easy to do and can really transform your furniture into something new again!

Supplies:

  • Cricut Explore
  • Cricut Design Space
  • Vinyl
  • 12 x 24″ mat
  • Cricut Tools
  • Transfer Tape
  • Coffee Table

because every picture has a story vinyl

I created this saying in Cricut Design Space.

Cricut Explore

Then I cut it out using my Cricut Explore and a 12 x 24″ mat.

Next, you’ll remove the top layer of vinyl off and begin “weeding” the negative off the cuts of vinyl.

Smoothing out vinyl

Place vinyl transfer tape on top and then smooth the transfer tape using a vinyl applicator.

Cricut Explore VinylRemove vinyl so that it’s attached on just the transfer tape.

Applying vinyl to coffee table

Place the vinyl transfer tape on your table. (Entertain your toddler with the sticky Cricut mat).

Using the vinyl applicator begin to remove the vinyl transfer tape making sure that the letters don’t bubble.

There you have it. My coffee table has a new look! Even better I can easily remove it and put a new phrase or image on the coffee table.

Aluminum print from Snapfish

I also added a new aluminum print from when we were in Florence. This is a gorgeous photo I captured when we were entering Florence. I had never ordered an aluminum tabletop print before. Here is what you can expect. They are lightweight aluminum photo panels. The colors become muted when printed on metal, and the effect is brilliant.

Acrylic from Snapfish

And I’m in love with my new acrylic prints. I love how they are slightly raised from the wall! The acrylic is a quarter-inch, crystal-clear acrylic give your photos depth and brilliance. Chrome-finish hanging hardware floats your panel 1” from the wall, for a chic modern, look. I will warn you that you do have to drill into your wall to mount these. We weren’t prepared for that part. Because we plan to move soon and know that these acrylic prints will be moved soon we only installed the top two hardware pieces. But once we move we will screw all 4 hardware pieces into the wall.

We also decided to enlarge Ryder’s first birthday family photo. We just love it so much and we felt it tied into the room just fine! If you liked the art work I had printed and you love Snapfish I invite you to join and become a Snapfish Superfan!
