DIY Iron-On Vinyl Turtle Name Onesie & Pants

DIY Iron-On Vinyl Turtle Name Onesie & Pants

Today, I'm excited to bring you another quick and easy iron-on vinyl project today. We are now in round 2 of the Cricut Design Space Star challenge and this month's theme is fashion. My team decided our theme for fashion would be "pop of color". Ryder had quite a few plain onesies and pants that needed a little extra something and adding on some blue iron-on vinyl was the perfect opportunity to give it the pop of color it needed! Supplies: Onesie Pants Cricut Iron-On Vinyl Cricut … [Read more...]

Easy Fix! Paint in the Numbers on the Cricut Mini

Easy Fix! Paint in the Numbers on the Cricut Mini

Last year, before I ever received my Cricut Explore (or knew that one was in the works). I did an easy fix to my Circut Mini. Since receiving my machine as a gift I always had a hard time seeing the numbers. One day I decided enough was enough and I decided I would take some matching green craft acrylic paint and paint in the numbers. Seriously, the simplest fix ever. I wish I would have done this the day I pulled the machine out of the box! Supplies: Cricut Mini Acrylic Paint Paint … [Read more...]

DIY Burlap Bathroom Art

diy burlap bathroom art #ListerineDesign #bathroom #DIY

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Listerine for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. A few years ago, I shared the mini-makeover we gave our guest bathroom. Since then I've changed up the shower curtain, towels, and floor mat, but I had never changed the DIY bathroom artwork I made for the bathroom. I finally got around to making this DIY Burlap Bathroom Art that I've been wanting to make for the past 6 months. And to jazz up our bathroom I got one of the exclusively … [Read more...]

Attending a Blog Conference with a Baby — Haven 2014

Ryder in Car

Last month, we attended the third year of Haven Conference. For those, non-DIY bloggers, Haven is a 2-day Home Decor & DIY Blog Conference. Bloggers from all over the United States attend this conference that is held in Atlanta, Georgia. Last year, at Haven I was 7 weeks pregnant and oh-so sick. But I hid it as well as one could, and just about no one caught on that I was pregnant! So it was nice to attend this year without having to hide anything. Instead I was showing off the little bundle … [Read more...]

Decoden Button Phone Case with Mod Podge Collage Clay #plaidcrafts #modpodge

This is a sponsored post on behalf of The Blue Print Social and Plaid Crafts. As Always all opinions are my own. Collage Clay is not recommended for children ages 12 and under, and the product is not edible. Small parts are a choking hazard for children. I'm so excited to share with you today a new product from Plaid Crafts. It's called Mod Podge Collage Clay. Collage Clay is lightweight whipped clay and makes for awesome Decoden, 3D Collage, stenciling projects and more. It's currently … [Read more...]

3M ScotchBlue™ Painters Tape Outdoor Painted Patio

3M ScotchBlue™ Painters Tape Outdoor Painted Patio

I am proud to be a 3M sponsored blogger, and, as part of my responsibilities, I get the opportunity to evaluate new products from ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape. Opinions are my own and additional product used in the project were selected by me. Two months ago, right before Katie was due to have the baby, ScotchBlue.com  reached out to us and asked us to create an outdoor DIY project for under $100. I was super excited since I’ve been chomping at the bit to paint our back patio floor. … [Read more...]

Easy Garage Organization with Rubbermaid FastTrack 5 Piece Kit

Easy Garage Organization with Rubbermaid FastTrack 5 Piece Kit

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Rubbermaid, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #FastTrack http://my-disclosur.es/RgFrEH Our garage is one place that we continue to neglect. We work room by room and yet the one room where we need to be the most efficient and organized we neglect. I feel like this happens with everyone. Once we are done with the nursery (only one more piece of furniture to build and two more walls to … [Read more...]

My Birth Story

In the delivery room

I was planning to share my birth story last week on the blog in ode to Mother's Day, and then life got crazy, and well I didn't want to miss any details so this post is a week late in my book. But it's the little things these days, and I'm slowly learning how to "roll with it". Earlier last week, I read a blog post from my friend Stacy at Not Just a Housewife about an amazing non-profit, Every Mother Counts. So I'm dedicating this blog post to them in an effort to raise awareness and help raise … [Read more...]
