How to Add Additional Cabinet Space to Your Kitchen

How to Add Additional Cabinet Space to Your Kitchen

Today, I'm back to share another kitchen revamp update post. When we were planning our kitchen project, I had mentioned to Jon that I really wanted him to cut out the two sides that backed up to the corner and extend out our cabinet. I knew that our builder did not utilize the space properly (remember, we bought a foreclosure, so this was way out of our control). I knew that I had almost a whole other cabinets worth of room that had been blocked. So as soon as Jon removed the formica countertops … [Read more...]

Glitter Stencil Vase

Late last year, Amy from Mod Podge Rocks reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to try out her new stencil line. I love using stencils and I adore Amy, so I agreed to give her new stencil line a try! I received the Mod Podge ® Rocks! Peel & Stick Stencils - Tangier stencil. After I received it I was trying to think of a project to make. After making my spring bird cage for the Pinterest Party and prettying up our buffet in our dining room I decided I would repurpose the washi tape … [Read more...]

Baby Shower Whale Garden Flag

Baby Shower Whale Garden Flag in under 20 minutes

Today, I'm going to share another baby shower craft with you. I have a thing for garden flags and I knew I wanted to make a garden flag themed around our Whale Baby Shower! I used a piece of burlap, cut it to size, and sewed a slit so that it can hang on the wire metal. That took me a whole 5 minutes and then I got to work on my Cricut. Using Iron-On Vinyl I was able to quickly adhere the design on to the burlap. I made this flag the morning of our baby shower. Yes--the morning of. So when I … [Read more...]

Everything You Need to know About the new Cricut Explore #ExploreCricut

It's been a little quiet around here the past few days, sorry for that. But I have a fantastic reason for it... if you follow me on Instagram you know exactly what I've been up to. I was in Salt Lake City, Utah for the product launch of the brand new Cricut Explore™! You guy's know that I've been a Cricut user for years, so when they invited me out for this  launch I was over the moon. Of course, the first thing I did was calculate how many weeks I would be since the cut off for flying is 34 … [Read more...]

2014 DIY Goals

2014 DIY Goals

A new year... new goals. That is how it always works, right? We were able to successfully cross off half the projects we had hoped and wished to do in 2013 off our list. Take a look--I think we did pretty good. I mean we did remodel a kitchen, film over a dozen videos for Homes.com which included some pretty stinking cool tutorials, and managed to travel. Oh wait, did I forget to mention we made a baby!?!?! lol. Last year, I really wanted to put that on our goals list but decided it was … [Read more...]
