Back in June when we were working on revamping our patio I decided to take a little spray paint to an old lantern to brighten it up! This was considered a free project since I had everything on hand. The only thing I had to do was use a little time and elbow grease!
First things first, you'll need about an hour-ish (give or take) to complete this project. I purchased this lantern a year ago at HomeGoods in the clearance section. I always knew I wanted to do something with it but just wasn't ...

For those that don't know Mr. Woodsy and I are heading off today for our "once in-a-lifetime" vacation that we've been planning for a very long time. We are going to Europe! Don't fret. Harvest Tea Light Blocks
Last year, I saw this brilliant idea on Just Between Friends to make your own tea light candle holders from a 4 x 4 post of wood. We made the 4 x 4 wood tea light holders last year before Thanksgiving but never had a chance to decoupage the words onto the blocks. This year, I took the same plain blocks we used as rustic wood tea light holders last year, and decoupaged words on to the blocks. This is a super simple project and it didn't cost us anything to make since we had all the supplies on ...

I decided to give this free program a try in hopes I could make some cool word art for the Fourth of July. A lot of teachers use this program to make classroom decor or even assign projects to students. You can either type in words to create your word cloud or type in a URL. I ...
{Tutorial} Yoga Skirt
A few years back I bought a cotton knit skirt from Old Navy called a "yoga skirt". I believe it's called a yoga skirt because (in my mind) the fabric is made from the same fabric you'd typically find yoga pants made of. For the past few years I have worn my black yoga skirt time-and-time again. Probably at least once a week, and a year or two ago I realized that the fold from the skirt could be pulled up and I could wear it as a strapless dress. With that being said I knew I could make one, and ...
