Harvest Tea Light Blocks

Last year, I saw this brilliant idea on Just Between Friends to make your own tea light candle holders from a 4 x 4 post of wood. We made the 4 x 4 wood tea light holders last year before Thanksgiving but never had a chance to decoupage the words onto the blocks. This year, I took the same plain blocks we used as rustic wood tea light holders last year, and decoupaged words on to the blocks. 4th of July Word Cloud {How to make}

I love the varieties of subway art that all the crafters in the world make; however, lately I've had very little time to make anything. I recently started using a very cool and free word cloud generator; Wordle.  I decided to give this free program a try in hopes I could make some cool word art for the Fourth of July. {Tutorial} Yoga Skirt

A few years back I bought a cotton knit skirt from Old Navy called a "yoga skirt". I believe it's called a yoga skirt because (in my mind) the fabric is made from the same fabric you'd typically find yoga pants made of. Last week my Aunt  Millie turned 88. After her birthday last year she requested that no one buy her gifts, anymore. Craft Lunch: Fabric Rosettes

Terry Cloth Headband

I first saw this awesome "sweatband" on the Craft Snob's blog. I really liked the fact that I could use any type of terry cloth material, and the fact that I'd finally have a good headband for exercising!
