Revamped Wood Outdoor Table

Last year, I shared a simple project on our restored wood outdoor table. Well, fast forward a year later and that restored wood table is good, but I wanted to give it a fresh coat of paint to make it pop more in our new outdoor patio. So we both got to work tackling various spray paint refresh projects like the Faux Dip-Dyed Garden Pot and the spray painted lantern (coming soon), and Jon worked on the revamped wood outdoor table project. Supplies Need for this Project: Drill (we love … [Read more...]

Placemat Board Games

A few week's ago I shared with everyone my June box for the 12 Month's of Martha Campaign. This month, Martha launched her newest book: Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids: 175 Projects for Kids of All Ages to Create, Build, Design, Explore, and Share. To be honest this craft book isn't just for kids. We found the placemat board games on page 132-133 of the book and we knew we needed to make a placemat for ourselves. We used an Ikea MÄRIT Place Mat that is just $1.49! So for less than $5 … [Read more...]

Last year, we received a used set of patio furniture after Jon did some work for a friend. We loved the set and kept the cost minimal and never replaced the cushions that were given to us. Fast forward to present day and we were in desperate need of refreshing our patio for all the outdoor … [Read more...]

Today, we are taking a break from our Master Bedroom Revamp Projects and revealing a little side project we completed in less than a half day. What goes best with a brand new outdoor living room? Cider of course! A few weeks ago Mr. Woodsy sent me a series of text messages asking if I wanted an outdoor furniture set. Upon reviewing a few photos I immediately said yes! It was a used set but with a little TLC I knew we could make it our own and make it better! The going price tag was … [Read more...]
