{Travel} Saint Paul de Vence, France

Our last stop during our day tour in Monaco was the quaint Medieval town of Saint Paul De Vence. We had no idea what to expect--although from all of our other stops that day we were hoping it would be just as good if not better than what we had experienced every where else. Thankfully, it was! Upon our tour van, climbing the steep hills we were told to run loose and enjoy a nice lunch. We had two hours which honestly felt like eternity here. The outskirts of the town are lined with … [Read more...]

{Travel} Nice, France

During our day in Monaco, we took a private tour with 6 other fellow cruisers around the French Riveria. After enjoying an hour in Eze, France we drove about 30 minutes further to get to Nice. But before getting to Nice our amazing tour guide stopped at a look out point that overlooked Nice. These pictures don't even do Nice justice for how gorgeous it was there. The sun had finally broken out of the clouds and was shining down on the tanzanite blue Mediterranean waters. Thankfully, we … [Read more...]

{Travel} Èze, France

Today, I'm going to introduce to a tiny little town off the coast of France. Meet Èze. It is not pronounce "easy" it's pronounced "ez".  Èze has been described as an “eagle's nest” because of its location overlooking a high cliff 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level on the French Mediterranean. Èze, renowned tourist site on the French Riviera, is famous worldwide for the view of the sea from its hill top. This little village is one of 13 villages along the Route of Perched … [Read more...]

{Travel} Monaco

I've vowed to share photos from our European vacation weekly until the end of the year. Today, I'm excited to share stories and a few photos from Monaco. Our cruise ship docked in Monaco, and while I've heard its beautiful I'm ashamed to admit that I wasn't all too excited for this port. I'm glad that I gave myself low expectations because it was mind blowing beautiful! For those who aren't familiar with Monaco it is a sovereign city state, located on the French Riviera in Western … [Read more...]

{Travel} Barcelona, Spain

La Sagrada Familia

We're back! We had the most amazing vacation ever! For those who don't follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram you may not know that we were traveling around Europe for the past 2.5 weeks. During our vacation we spent 4 days in Barcelona, Spain and then hopped on a 12 day Mediterranean cruise. So over the course of the next few weeks (maybe even months) I'll be sharing our journey around Europe. First off, our trip didn't get off to the best start thanks to American Airlines silent … [Read more...]

{Bowdabra Design Team} Designer Dog Harness

Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. I'm sharing some pictures of our Yorkie, Lola, today. I'm over on the Bowdabra Blog today sharing my Dog Bow Tutorial for "Dog Week". I turned our cute little Yorkie's gentle leader harness into a Designer Harness in less than 10 minutes. Lola, our 10 pound princess, does not like to wear bows in her hair. I've tried time and time again, and she pulls them out quicker than I can put them in her hair.  Lately, I've been getting annoyed … [Read more...]

Vacation Photography {Part 2: New York City}

Last month we shared part 1 of our vacation photos from Philadelphia. As promised we would share a few of our favorite photographs we took (part 2) while visiting New York City during the fourth of July. Mr. Woodsy and I scored $38 orchestra seats to the controversial Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark. It was beyond amazing. The costumes, the set, the music, and the actors/actresses altogether made this show wonderful. It was so good we would pay $200+ per ticket to see it again. If you are … [Read more...]

Vacation Photography {Part 1: Philadelphia}

 Last month Mr. Woodsy and I spent two days in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before heading to New York City to spend the 4th of July with family. While in Philadelphia we visited many historical landmarks *and a few not-so historical--but well known places.  Benjamin Franklin can be found all over the city of "brotherly love" in many forms. Here is a more hip and urban version of Ben Franklin spray painted on a wall on a side ally of a building.  Mr. Woodsy and I infront of the … [Read more...]

Where we live… {Photography}

Two years ago we decided to purchase a home in the outskirts of town... near cow fields to be exact. We are surrounded by cow pastures. This was something new to me. Growing up I lived in apartments and town-homes, and had never lived near live stock. I would only see farm animals when I would drive down to Florida on vacation with my family. However, Mr. Woodsy grew up surrounded by live stock and other wild animals. Well, that is after Mr. Woodsy moved from New York City at age 6! He went from … [Read more...]
