Planning to attend Brick or Treat? Check out all our LEGOLAND® Florida Brick or Treat Tips for Families.

Thank you LEGOLAND for giving us 2 passes to enjoy Brick or Treat. As always, all opinions are my own.

Last weekend we spent the day at LEGOLAND® Florida to kick off October with our first visit to Brick or Treat! We unintentionally have hit the Halloween theme park circuit this year. You can read about our 13 Things to Know About Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular in case you missed those.

The whole family loved Brick or Treat. We also loved how this kid-friendly Halloween event featured Halloween entertainment, rides, and of course ghoulish treats. I’m excited to share our LEGOLAND® Florida Brick or Treat Tips for Families with you.

In honor of LEGOLAND® Pirate Island Hotel opening in spring 2020, kids (ages 2-12) who came dressed as pirates last weekend for Brick or Treat received a complimentary ticket to visit the theme park before the end of year! We don’t have annual passes yet, so we decided to take advantage of this awesome offer. I’ll be sharing how I made these DIY Pirate Costumes within the next week.

I’m excited to share all my tips and tricks I learned during this visit. Here is the link to the official map with all the details, too!

Should you wear a costume to LEGOLAND Florida Brick or Treat?

I was pretty surprised to find that barely anyone dresses up at Brick or Treat. Definitely very few parents were dressed up. At first my husband and I looked at each other and asked if we were attending the correct day. But we knew deep down inside our kids loved that we dressed up with them, and we got some awesome photos as a family of pirates.

So, we took it with a grain of salt. Most likely we will not go dressed up next year (but will let the kids dress up)! I will add most kids do wear a costume, but they are definitely not required.

Does LEGOLAND Provides Trick or Treat Bags?

Just like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, LEGOLAND also provides one plastic bag per kid. Trick or Treating is only available for kids. If you are an annual pass holder you can get a reusable trick or treat bag. Just see an attendant to find out where you can pick it up.

    Brick Or Treat Trail

Every weekend during the month of October you can trick or treat along the LEGO trail. Line up at the Pirate’s Cove South Stadium and follow the path. Brick or Treat runs from 2-7pm October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 26-27. One visit only per day is encouraged. It’s best if you get to the park early so you can ride rides and have lunch. Then line up to go through the Brick or Treat trail!

    Allergy Friendly Treats

LEGOLAND has done a wonderful job catering to those who have allergies. Guest can still trick r treat down the Brick or Treat Trail and collect coins. Then exchange the coins over at Halloween Headquarters for allergy friendly sweet treats.

    Brick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt

We participated in the Brick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt this year. We walked through Miniland to find the LEGO Candy Corn! They are large and pretty easy to spot as you can see in the photos. Plus, they have a few scenes decorated for Halloween which is pretty cool to see!

PRO TIP: Take a photo of each one you see as you walk Miniland so you don’t double count them. Then once your done snapping photos you can count them up and submit your form. Check the times as to when you have to return your scavenger hunt slip.

When you submit your form you receive a Halloween DUPLO block!

    Larger-than-Life LEGO builds

    Larger-than-Life LEGO builds

They had quite a few options throughout the park to help create the larger-than-life LEGO builds! My son had fun at the Bigsy Bricksy LEGO Spider Build. Where he created a spider and added it to the large web.

    Halloween LEGO Characters

They have special meet-and-greet opportunities with seven Halloween event exclusive LEGO characters. We absolutely loved meeting the Halloween themed LEGO characters. Most lines weren’t long at all. Less than a 5 minute wait at most! We met Lord Vampyre, Rockin’ Frankenstein, LEGO Witch, and the LEGOO Mad Scientist!

We even got to join the spooky squad this year and meet the LEGO Scarecrow inside DUPLO® Valley.

    LEGO Halloween Shows

LEGOLAND has 4 different Halloween shows available during Brick or Treat. We only caught the The Groovin’ Graveyard show which was awesome. Zombie drummers paired with Zombie LEGO made for a fun and interactive 15 minutes of indoor AC time. It was also a good time to let the kids snack and rehydrate!

Halloween shows during the month of October:

    • The Grooovin’ Graveyard (Fun Town 4D Theater (LIVE show) 11am, 1pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm
    • A Candy-Coated Curse (City Stage presented by Wells Fargo (LIVE show)) 1:30pm, 3:15pm, 5:15pm, 7pm
    • The Jammin’ Jacks (near The Big Shop) 7-9pm every 15 minutes
    • Monster Bash Dance Party (Near The Great LEGO® Race) 5:30-7:30pm

    Halloween Food at LEGOLAND® Florida

Guests can sip with a special event-themed Coca-Cola Freestyle® collector’s cup. Or indulge in Granny’s Apples Fries with Pumpkin flavored ice cream as well as nibble on a variety of Halloween-themed snacks.

    Halloween Specialty Snacks:

    • Candy Crypt Cannoli (Market Coffee Shop)
    • Mummy’s Snack Mix (picture above and located at most restaurants in the park)
    • Boo-Berry Dessert Pizza (Pizza & Pasta Buffet)
    • Granny’s Harvest Apple Fries served with Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream
    • Pumpkin Pie Eclair (Market Coffee Shop)
    • Spooky Kooky Churros (all carts)

I hope that all these tips, tricks, and event details will have you ready for a fun-filled family day at LEGOLAND Florida!
