DIY Personalized Jingle Juice Wine Bag & Glasses using the Cricut Explore Air 2

I can’t believe that we are ending another year. With that being said I’m starting to get a jump start on all my personalized Christmas gifts. I’m whipping up a few of these DIY Personalized Jingle Juice Wine Bag & Glasses using the Cricut Explore Air 2 to give out at the various parties I already have on the calendar! For this project I broke out my Cricut Explore Air 2! I love that the Air 2 can cut and write up to 2X faster than previous Cricut Explore models with this DIY speed machine. All the materials I selected for this project can be cut 2x faster! Which is always a win in my book. The Cricut Explore Air 2 cuts over 100 materials — everything from cardstock, vinyl and iron-on to specialty materials like glitter paper, cork, and bonded fabric. It also has Bluetooth® wireless technology. I love using it when I’m designing in one room and don’t feel like hooking up my computer to my Cricut! It’s also compatible with the Scoring Stylus and Deep-Point Blade (sold separately).

Supplies to make DIY Personalized Jingle Juice Wine Bag & Glasses

• Cricut Design Space File – Personalized Jingle Juice Stemless Wine Glasses
• Red Glitter Iron-On Vinyl
• White and Red Vinyl
• Transfer Tape
• Cricut Mat
• Cricut Tools
• Cricut BrightPad (optional)
• Wine Canvas Bag
• Stemless glasses
• Iron / Heat Press / Cricut EasyPress
• Cricut EasyPress Tote (optional)

First, you want to pull up the Personalized Jingle Juice Wine Bag in Cricut Design Space. I have left my welded file for you to view and then you’ll see another example that reads “Family Name”. Always, make a copy and then turn off the layer in Cricut Design Space. That way if you mess up you have the original file. Next, add in the family name, space it accordingly. Select the “Jingle Juice” layer plus the family name and select “attach” then select “weld”.

Next, add on the red glitter Iron-On vinyl on to a mat. Make sure you select “mirror image”. Then follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space. **I placed the dial on “other’ and then selected Glitter Iron-On Vinyl in Cricut Design Space.

Once the image is cut, next it’s time to weed the image. If you have a Cricut BrightPad this is the time you’ll want to use it!

Once the design is weeded, place it on the canvas wine bag.

Next, start the Cricut EasyPress2!For a cotton/canvas surface you need to press for 270 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 seconds.

ALWAYS use the Cricut EasyPress™ Mat or a light muslin cloth to protect the EasyPress and the material.

Then, carefully do a warm peel of the transfer tape.

Super cute and done in under 20 minutes!

Next, it’s time to make the wine glasses. First you want to measure your wine glass to figure out what size would work best for the vinyl. My stemless wine glasses were just over 4″ tall so I opted to do a vinyl design at 2.5 inches. Then open the Cricut Design Space File for the Personalized Jingle Juice Stemless Wine Glasses.

Next, the machine will prompt you to cut the white emoji reindeer’s first.

Next, cut the names + jingle juice using the red vinyl.

While the red vinyl cuts, weed out the reindeer.

Next, peel of the negative of the vinyl. Then, carefully weed out the little parts in the words.

Squeegee the transfer tape on top of the words. Then, carefully peel it up.

Next, carefully place the transfer tape on the glass. Start from the center and then smooth out to the sides. I found that working with text and two lines it’s best to work on the top first then peel back some and then work on the bottom. This will prevent bubbling.

Next, work on the emoji reindeer. Place the transfer tape on top, squeegee the tape on to the vinyl.

Carefully remove the transfer tape. Then place in the center of the text.

This is how the glass should look! Of course you can switch up the color or make it one color!
