No Sew Dinosaur Costume using the Cricut Maker

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine. I'm so excited to share my No Sew Dinosaur Costume today. I made this costume for my son last year, and in my typical fashion--last minute. We love making DIY Halloween costumes in my home. Last year, I shared a few photos and even a live video on Facebook last year. It was my first time cutting felt with the Cricut Maker and I instantly fell in love. I partnered with my friends at … [Read more...]

Toy Story Alien Trick or Treat Bucket

Learn how easy it is to transform a neon green one dollar Halloween bucket into a Toy Story Alien Trick or Treat Bucket!  Last year, our family had a Toy Story theme for Halloween. My son wanted to be Buzz Lightyear and I was feeling extra guilty that I didn't DIY his costume. That's when I started thinking about what he would hold to trick or treat. At first I was going to make an alien themed bag--then I saw a neon green Halloween pumpkin at Walmart and I instantly knew I was going to … [Read more...]

DIY Will Trade Sibling for Candy T-Shirt

Get ready for the sweetest sibling shirts around. I made these for Halloween; however, any candy related holiday will work (Easter or Valentine's Day). You can change up the middle color and add additional embelishments like hearts for Valentine's Day or a bunny for Easter! I kept the design pretty simple and I'm in love, and best of all the kids have received so many compliments on their shirts. I originally had the idea to make this shirt for my candy obsessed toddler, and then I decided well … [Read more...]

I just wanted to pop on and share a few photos from our Halloween plus wish everyone a belated Halloween. We've been a little quiet on the blog lately and we had good reasons. Halloween Entryway 2015

Today, I'm finally sharing our Halloween entryway. Every year I love to decorate our entry way. In the years prior to baby I enjoyed decorating the entire house, now I no longer have time nor do I have patience for telling my mischievous toddler to stop touch, holding, etc... So I've resorted to decorating our entryway. This year we have a new entryway and although I didn't go as crazy as in past years, I did add a few of my past favorite decor items plus some new items from Martha Stewart … [Read more...]

“I Put a Spell On You…” Halloween Printable

One of my all time favorite Halloween movies is Hocus Pocus. I think the most iconic phrase from the movie is "I put a spell on you, and now you're mine!". I decided to turn it into a quick little printable to add to my existing Halloween decor. I love the font it's called Sortdecai Brush Script. It's not a free font. You have to buy it. My font addiction has went from free to now purchased and it's bad. Really bad!  If you are loving this printable as much as I am feel free to click the link … [Read more...]
